May Madness- Laundry room

This tiny space will ultimately hold "the control center", stacked washer/dryer, charging station, pet area, electrical sub-panel and serve as a alcove for powder room and master bedroom.  The "most complicated room in the house".

View from master bath, Pocket door on left complicated running water and electrical lines.

Circular hot and cold water lines to accommodate the hand held and shower head. Multiple turns and joints make this area really complicated.
From laundry room side, control center box on left, metal strips are put in place to avoid accidental puncture from nails.

Pocket door for master bath is secured.

Closet side of pocket door.

Sub-Panel shows the many electrical lines running from new house.

Dry wall and taping makes laundry room appear quite subdued.

Four out of the eight Eastlake doors will live in this 4 by 8 foot alcove. Laundry room doors are matched 7 foot, 200 pound beauties joined together with dowlings and glued together while hanging in place. They won't ever move unless the wall is removed. Extra strong hardware, perfect balance and squaring makes them glide along with ease.

On the right we see the structure that supports and encases the two huge laundry room doors.

Powder room door and sub-panel finish the busy alcove. Both bedroom and powder room doors were saved from the flames in a San Francisco fire. Smoke and ash can be seen along to upper edges. We expect them to finish up beautifully.
